PLEASE NOTE: We will no longer offer Rust-Veto A2 (Quick-Dry Cosmoline) in aerosol cans. We will continue to offer this product in quarts, gallons, 4-gallon cases and 55-gallon drums. This product has the viscosity of a thin liquid (like water) and can be sprayed from any over-the-counter spray bottle which dramatically lowers the cost per ounce vs. the aerosol can. FAST-DRYING RUST PREVENTIVE (Thin, Durable, Clear, Hard Wax Coating)
- Rust-proof protection for all metals stored indoors or in a shed/garage.
- Dries to form a firm, waxy, transparent, clear coating. (Thin, but very strong and durable)
- Excellent protection to packaged items, dies, and molds, precision instruments and other highly finished parts.
- Easily seeps (and protects) into fine groves and crevices.

- Surface Coverage = approx. 850 square feet/gal at 1.0 mil-thickness
- Dry to set time = less than 30 minutes.
- Can be applied by spray, dip, or brush. This product is also commonly applied using household handheld spray bottles (not applicable with aerosols).
- Easily removed with Cosmoline remover, mineral spirits, paint thinner or over-the-counter petroleum solvent.
