Cosmoline® 1060 is a thick, firm wax-like grease product that produces no oil slick when submerged in salt water. Cosmoline® 1060 provides unshielded outdoor storage for guns and other munitions, and is recommended for long term protection of highly finished parts.

APPLICATION:
Can be applied via spray dip or brush. Application by Brush: melting point achieved at 155-degrees F. Application by Dipping: must heat product to bath temperature between 175-200-degrees F. Application by Spray: must heat product to 200-220-degrees F.
REMOVAL:
Removal of protective films is accomplished by using a steam cleaner or washing the parts in mineral spirits, solvent thinner, vapor degreaser, or hot alkaline wash.
